Q: Will you "do what you do" for free?
A: Quite Possibly Not! We like to eat and mortgage/rent is not at all cheap, so we generally charge American dollars for our services. It's a novel idea and one that seems to work out very well.
Q: Will you come speak to my school / organization / bar mitzvah / low country pig pickin'?
A: Absolutely, yes. Send us a plane ticket and start bastin' that squealer with your finest bbq sauce! We are always interested in spreading the cheer that is design and will do so to any corner of the globe. Shoot us an email or call the studio and let's chat!
Q: What is branding?
A: Thought you might ask that. It is the honest, consistent representation of the personality of and the promise behind a company. We have been doing it long before it was the "cool" thing to say, and a brand doesn't necessarily have to be tied to a company. For example, Frank Sinatra is and was a strong brand - he stood for something. His values were reflected in every aspect of his life, from the way he sang to the steakhouse he hung out in on Hollywood Boulevard. Obviously, Michael Jackson is a much weaker brand. Don't even get me started on Britney Spears!
Q: Complete this sentence: Everything is better with _______________:
A: The answer is clearly beer. Or music. Good music. Although if there is enough beer, bad music is much more tolerable.
Q: Why did you choose the name Studio Eighty?
A: Founder and principal of Studio Eighty's last name is spelled Ady. Not too difficult to pronounce right? Wrong! After it was butchered upon his first ever touchdown catch, both high school and college graduations and at the introduction of the bride and groom at his own wedding reception, he decided to do something about it. So the number 80 spelled out actually is how his last name is pronounced... and Studio Eighty was born.
Q: Will you pitch my company / band / organization ideas before we decide to hire you?
A: See question #2.
